The certificate, not just the claim

In Australia, only VDA-certified companies are allowed to make genuine AdBlue®. Liquidia is one of them — and every batch is manufactured and tested to the ISO 22241 standard before it leaves us.

What our certification means

Licensed to make genuine AdBlue®

AdBlue® is a registered trademark of the Verband der Automobilindustrie (VDA) in Germany. Only companies that hold a VDA quality-management licence are permitted to manufacture and sell genuine AdBlue®. Liquidia operates under AdBlue® trademark licence No. 0004804, issued in Berlin, and complies with ISO 22241 — the international standard that defines AdBlue® quality, purity and handling.

This licence is issued to our manufacturing entity, Figure Eight Enterprises Pty Ltd, and is not to be used by any other entity — so when you buy from Liquidia, you are buying from the certified manufacturer directly.

Quality Control

How we guarantee every batch

As a VDA-licensed manufacturer, every batch of AdBlue® is tested, documented and stored — with a retained sample from each batch archived for 12 months. It's a core requirement of being a certified VDA manufacturer, and it gives you full traceability from raw material to delivery.

Every batch, tested and certified

We're a genuine, VDA-licensed Australian AdBlue® manufacturer (licence No. 0004804). Every shipment of raw urea is certified to specification, and each finished batch is then sampled and analysed against the full ISO 22241-2 standard — issued a Certificate of Analysis before release. Two checkpoints, every batch — and we're happy to provide a full copy any time before you order.

Genuine, VDA-licensed, ISO 22241 certified AdBlue®

In Australia, only VDA-certified companies are permitted to manufacture genuine AdBlue®, and Liquidia is one of them. We hold AdBlue® trademark licence No. 0004804 and manufacture to ISO 22241 — the international standard defining AdBlue® quality, purity and handling. Every batch of diesel exhaust fluid is blended, filtered and lab-tested in our own facility before release, with full traceability from raw urea to delivery.

That means when you buy AdBlue® from Liquidia you get certified, high-purity product that protects your SCR system and injectors — not an unbranded or off-spec substitute that can cause warning lights and costly damage. Certificates of Analysis and our VDA documentation are available on request.
