Our Perth site is at 6 Butcher St, Kwinana Beach. Pickup is the simplest option if you're already working around the Kwinana, Rockingham or Henderson area.
Perth summers are long, hot and dry, with runs of days above 35 °C. A drum on a north-facing hardstand or in a closed tin shed can get well above the air temperature. Heat breaks AdBlue® down, releasing ammonia and lowering urea concentration.
ISO 22241-3 guidance is about 18 months at or below 25 °C, 12 months at or below 30 °C, and 6 months at or below 35 °C. Test anything stored hotter than that before use. For most Perth yards, planning on the 6 to 12 month figures over summer is realistic.
Store under a roof with airflow. Keep IBCs covered and off hot concrete where you can. Date every container on arrival and use the oldest first. Buy in amounts you'll use within a season rather than a year.

A worked example: a metro distribution truck doing 1,200 km a week at 40 L/100 km uses about 480 L of diesel. At a typical AdBlue® dose of 3–6%, that's roughly 15–30 L of AdBlue® a week.
