The calculator does the same sums a buyer would do on paper. Knowing the method lets you check the answer and run your own what-ifs.
| Pack | List price ex GST | Per litre ex GST |
|---|---|---|
| 10 L | $19.50 | $1.95 |
| 15 L | $27.50 | $1.83 |
| 20 L | $31.50 | $1.58 |
| 210 L drum | $185 | $0.88 |
| 1,000 L IBC (timber base) | $890 | $0.89 |
| 1,000 L IBC (steel base) | $990 | $0.99 |
Ex Works prices, ex GST. Delivery is quoted to your suburb and is not included in the calculator.
A small transport yard uses 400 L of AdBlue® a month in 20 L drums at $38.00 inc GST each.
$38.00 ÷ 1.1 = $34.55 ex GST. Our 20 L is $31.50, a gap of $3.05 a drum. At 20 drums a month that is about $61 a month, or about $730 a year ex GST, before delivery.
A depot uses 1,000 L a month, all in 20 L drums at our list price: 50 × $31.50 = $1,575 a month.
The same 1,000 L in one timber-base IBC is $890, a difference of $685 a month, or about $8,200 a year ex GST. In 210 L drums it is about $881 a month. The pack change saves far more than any price haggle.
The second example is why we always ask how you store and dispense AdBlue®. Moving from 20 L drums to IBCs needs a forklift or pallet jack, a level spot out of the sun and an IBC pump kit. If your usage justifies it, bulk tanker delivery into an on-site tank can go further again. See bulk and on-site supply.
If the calculator shows a saving, call with your pack size, packs a month and delivery suburb, and we'll confirm a delivered price. If it shows little or none, you may still save by changing pack size. For bulk, ask for a private quote for your site.
Yes. Drum and IBC comparisons use the same Ex Works prices shown on our price list, ex GST. Delivery is quoted to your suburb.
Bulk AdBlue® is delivered by tanker, so the rate depends on your site, access and volume. We quote it for your location. The calculator shows what each cent a litre is worth so you can judge our quote.
No. The calculator runs in your browser and nothing is sent to us. Only the request form sends anything, and your price range is only included if you tick the box.
On our list a 210 L drum is $185, about $0.88 per litre, and a 1,000 L IBC is $890 to $990, $0.89 to $0.99 per litre. Which is better value for you overall also depends on delivery, handling and how quickly you use it.
