Western Australia's scale shapes how operators think about AdBlue®. Distances are long, road trains cover huge kilometres, and mine sites and remote depots can be days from the nearest supplier. Running out is not a minor inconvenience. Liquidia holds AdBlue stock at Kwinana Beach, south of Perth, giving WA operators a local source of VDA-licensed product.
Kwinana Beach: in the heart of an industrial area
Kwinana Beach is part of the Kwinana industrial area, one of WA's major heavy industry zones, close to the Kwinana Freeway and within reach of Fremantle and the southern suburbs. It suits operators working the southern corridor, heading down towards Rockingham, Mandurah and the South West, or linking to the main routes north and east.
Our Perth stock is the same VDA-licensed AdBlue (licence No. 0005569) we supply nationally, lab-tested to ISO 22241. Certificates of Analysis are available on request, and our 12-month product guarantee applies.
Opening hours and collection
Perth collection hours are:
- Monday to Thursday: 7:00 to 15:00
- Friday: 7:00 to 12:00
Note the early Friday finish. If you need product before the weekend, plan to collect on Friday morning or earlier in the week.
Something you can do today: ring 1300 106 220 before heading to Kwinana Beach so your order is confirmed and ready. For IBCs, remember a full 1,000 L container weighs about 1,150 kg, so check your vehicle's payload and make sure you can unload it safely.
Perth pricing
Our published Ex Works prices cover Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne. Perth prices are on request, because freight costs to WA affect the landed price. Call or email orders@liquidia.com.au with the pack size and quantity you need, and whether you want to collect or have it delivered, and we will quote.
Available pack sizes are the same as elsewhere: 10 L, 15 L and 20 L drums, 210 L drums and 1,000 L IBCs. Delivery is quoted to your suburb.
Who uses AdBlue in WA
WA demand has its own character compared with the eastern states:
- Mining and resources — haulage contractors, light vehicle fleets and support equipment servicing the Pilbara, Goldfields and Mid West.
- Road train and long-distance freight operators running the Great Northern and Great Eastern Highways and the Nullarbor to the east.
- Heavy industry in Kwinana and surrounding areas.
- Agriculture across the Wheatbelt, where modern machinery increasingly uses SCR.
- Metropolitan fleets — buses, waste vehicles, construction and distribution.
For operators heading into remote areas, the practical question is how much AdBlue to carry. A heavy truck typically uses around 15–17 L per 1,000 km, and road trains carrying heavy loads will use more. On a long remote run, carrying a sealed 20 L drum as a spare is common sense.
Heat, distance and storage
WA heat is the biggest storage risk. AdBlue kept at up to 30°C lasts about 12 months; at up to 35°C about 6 months. In the north of the state and inland, outdoor temperatures regularly go well beyond that, and AdBlue should be tested before use if it has been stored above 35°C.
Tips for WA sites:
- Store tanks and IBCs under cover with airflow, never in full sun.
- Use insulated IBC covers on remote sites.
- Rotate stock and use the oldest first.
- Keep spare drums in the shade on vehicles, not on an exposed tray.
For bulk tanks on mine and remote sites, level monitoring is especially useful, because a missed reorder can mean days without product rather than hours. Knowing the level remotely lets you order early enough to allow for long delivery times.
Bulk supply
Bulk AdBlue is available in WA with pricing quoted on volume and location. Tell us your site, access arrangements and expected use, and we will work out the options.
